Penia di Canazei is a small village characterized by historic streets and buildings, 3 km from Canazei and only 800 meters from the Alba ski lifts: Dolèda and Ciampac.
Penia offers interesting views to discover and activities for young and old.
Famous historical places are the Venetian sawmill, the church of San Sebastiano and San Rocco, and the Dantone Museum, which allow you to retrace the valley’s history.
Being at the foot of the Marmolada, it is an excellent starting point for bicycle lovers, not only for road bikes but also for mountain biking as several paths branch off from the woods of this village.
It is also an excellent starting point for excursions and walks; a trip to the majestic Val Contrin is recommended.
